However at our church the whole prayer is left out probably because it is in the same section as the confession which we move to near the beginning of the service rather than just before communion. In our American revision of the 1928 book, the PHA was slightly altered and the phrase <I>that our sinful bodies may be made clean by his body,and our souls washed through his most precious blood</I> was omitted .
