Pastor's abortion dream inflames bushfire tragedy
The Catch the Fire Ministries has tried to blame the bushfires disaster on laws decriminalising abortion in Victoria.
The Pentecostal church's leader, Pastor Danny Nalliah, claimed he had a dream about raging fires on October 21 last year and that he woke with "a flash from the Spirit of God: that His conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb".
Mr Nalliah referred to 2 Chronicles 7:14 to vouch for his assertion that God could withdraw his protection from a nation. "The Bible is very clear," he said. "If you walk out of God's protection and turn your back on Him, you are an open target for the devil to destroy."
However to lighten our thoughts a little I post the following:

Oh! The sweet little thing!
;=)
My friend Mountjoy sent that to me in an email, he lives in Perth.
It is really disgusting, God have mercy indeed.
And the little koala!
Prayers and prayers and more prayers dear Brian.
You've got some wacko 'Christians' downunder. Sounds as if an ould could have written that.
One of the Swedish papers report that the little fellow had burnt its feet/hands.
Pity on all defenceless!
Quite likely, Goran. Koalas (they are not bears) are particularly vulnerable as they rarely leave the trees. In normal conditions they can obtain all the necessary moisture from leaves. Some animals can outrun (or fly) the fire and some can go underground. One woman and her children saved themselves by going into a wombat tunnel. However this fire was so fast moving. It was truly a firestorm.
I am so very sorry, this is just a terrible tragedy in all ways.
That people ever feel the need to invoke God's rage in these tragedies is...
What, the little animals have to die too for some alleged God-fury?
Many prayers for you. I really do understand what it is like having been through it myself. I am still, to this day, traumatized by our last fire.
God Bless you and may His love and hope help the so very many harmed.
